Finland v Sweden live

Sweden have everything to play for when they make the short journey to Helsinki to take on Finland.

Sweden have no hope of catching Netherlands at the top of Euro 2012 Group E but that doesn't mean that they have nothing left to play for.

Not only do the Swedes need to win their last two matches in order to finish second but, if they do, they can also finish as the best second placed team in qualifying.

That would mean that Sweden would automatically qualify for next summer's tournament in Poland and Ukraine and that would be no more than Erik Hamren's side deserve. They have been excellent in qualifying and players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ola Toivonen and Kim Kallstrom should be playing on the biggest stage.

It is 4/7, at bet365, that Sweden beat Finland on Friday and that has to be one of the best bets available this weekend.

The Swedes are, quite simply, better than their opponents who are a team in transition. Mixu Paatelainen's side lost 5-0 in the reverse of this fixture in June and, while home advantage is important, they just don't look capable of competing with the pace and power of the Swedes, Ibrahimovic in particular.

The AC Milan striker is 7/2 to open the scoring on Friday and that looks a reasonable bet with 20/21 an absolute gift, considering he netted a hat-trick in the reverse fixture.

Finland are 5/1 to ruin Sweden's European Championship dreams or 11/4 to hold the visitors to a draw but this one looks like a sure pick for weekend accumulators.

Recommendation

Win Market - Sweden (4/7, bet365)
Anytime Goalscorer - Zlatan Ibrahimovic (20/21, bet365)
