Norway need a miracle on Tuesday if they are to make it through to the Euro 2012 playoffs.

They are currently three points behind Portugal and Denmark and with one game remaining, they can finish, at best, second in Euro 2012 Group H. If they end up joint second with Denmark then they will be eliminated due to an inferior head-to-head record and if they end up tying with Portugal then they can only reach the playoffs if they beat Cyprus by a huge score on Tuesday evening.

It is 1/5, at bet365, that the home side win in Oslo and 17/4 that they win by at least four goals. Even that is unlikely to be enough for Egil Olsen's side.

The damage was done when they were beaten by Denmark last month and morale in the squad is now very low. Players like John Carew, Morten Gamst Pedersen, John Arne Riise are unlikely to have another chance to play at a major international tournament and that could effect their motivation on Tuesday night.

It is maybe too much to ask that Cyprus beat Norway, and odds of 12/1 accurately reflect their chances of winning the match, but they could well claim a draw in the Ullevaal Stadion. It is 11/2 that Nikos Nioplias's side finish level with their hosts and that is perhaps worth a speculative punt.
