Portsmouth v Hull betting latest

Matthew Glazier - 19 Nov 2008

The Tigers’ bubble is slowly starting to burst, with Phil Brown’s team managing just one point from their last four games. Another couple of defeats and Hull will start slipping down the table, although they could be popular at 7/2 (Paddy Power) to win at Fratton Park this weekend.

Pompey have had a mixed bag of results since Tony Adams became manager, including a 2-1 home reverse against Wigan. With City having lost just one away match all season (at Old Trafford), it could well be worth laying Portsmouth at 1.87 (betfair), or alternatively backing City on the Draw No Bet market at 9/4 (bet365). William Hill offer some tremendous ‘Score Anytime’ prices for the match, going 6/4 about Jermain Defoe and 7/2 about Geovanni.
