Turkey play host to Germany tonight, with the visitors looking to continue their 100% Euro 2012 qualifying record.

Germany have once again been imperious in qualifying for a major international tournament, with eight wins from eight Euro 2012 Group A matches, 28 goals scored and just five conceded. Joachim Low takes his side's 100% record to Turkey on Friday and they could put a serious dent in their hosts' hopes of reaching the playoffs.

Turkey need four points from their two matches with Germany and Azerbaijan to ensure that finish second in Group A and Guus Hiddink knows that Friday's game is the most crucial his side will face in a long time. The latter is an achievable goal, particularly as Germany have nothing to play for other than pride, having already qualified for next summer's tournament in Poland and Ukraine. It is 11/10 that Germany beat their hosts in Istanbul although with the possibility that Low will rest some big names that is perhaps not a great bet. Turkey have enough top quality players (Arda Turan, Hamit Altintop, Mevlut Erdinc) to cause problems for the Germans and if the partizan crowd can get behind the Crescent Stars then they can secure the point they need.
